Lenos Custom Farming is a family-run custom cash crop farming operation based in Waterford, Ontario. We’ve been growing corn, wheat, and soybeans for our clients in Haldimand and Norfolk for over 40 years.
We are always investing in the latest agronomic technology and agricultural equipment in order to ensure our clients are receiving the maximum return on every acre. We strive to maintain our land stewardship and ensure that we are keeping up with government regulations.
We help our customers achieve their cropping needs through a seed-to-harvest process. This is done by investing in top-of-the-line GPS equipment backed by yield monitoring technology and current trends to give farmers and investors continued success.
Our vision for the future is to adapt with the progressive innovative agriculture industry and focus on being on the leading edge of new technologies, as well as adapt the technologies around how crops are grown.
Owner / Operator
John has been farming for over 50 years, but he describes it as many one-year experiences, as one year is never the same as the previous one. John has been a seed dealer in the past, as well as part of many local farming organizations over the years.

Nick has a diploma in Agriculture and worked in AG retail prior to returning to the farm. He has a love for watching a crop be planted and seeing it through to harvest. Nick works with customers to maximize their yields as efficiently as possible.

Shawn has been farming for over 25 years and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to fixing and maintaining equipment. He spends his spring planting corn, and spends his fall putting in many hours of harvesting.

Dave Has been with LCF for over 15 years and shows his passion for agriculture in his work ethic. Dave crosses many acres with the sprayer and enjoys harvesting and hauling grain.
Equipment Technician / Operator
Bailey has a keen interest in farming and is looking to further develop his knowledge and skills in agriculture over the years to come. In 2023 Bailey successfully attained his AZ license and enjoys the variety of work that farm life has to offer.
Equipment Technician / Operator
Brad is a well-rounded individual that will take on any task. He spends his spring prepping the fields for planting and making sure the sprayers keep moving. In the fall, he enjoys harvesting crops. He is well known at the water cooler for his likeable character and excellent jokes.

Oscar has been with LCF for a year now and is eager to get behind the wheel. Oscar has a passion for agriculture and has a desire to learn and grow into his role.
Field Specialist
Derek has been involved in agriculture his whole life and has passion for crops and equipment. Derek enjoys time planting and harvesting the Spring, Summer & Fall and when he’s not in a machine he’s out in the fields scouting crops and working with growers to keep them up to speed with how the crop is progressing in their fields.
